Eughhhh finally finished my first year of university! Goodbye freshman status, i am a sophomore now! Finals killed me. I ended my classes with As in Homicide, Honors Composition, and History of World Civilizations. I had a B in Psychology, and a C in Intermediate Algebra. I have already come to terms with the fact that I suck balls at math. I am happy as long as I pass, and a C is passing. I wrote a cool paper on Jack the Ripper and also made a cool presentation on Jack the Ripper. I also wrote the greatest paper about Scouting know to man. Mayhaps I shall make a webpage dedicated to archiving my papers? We shall see.

My first week of summer break was spent deathly ill (I am exaggerating). A stress-induced head cold plagued me AND my menstrual hit at the same time. Yes, I chose to be very dramatic about it and was couch-ridden the whole week. Being a girl is hard work. My mom bought me the new Tomodachi Life game in exchange for future manual labor to which I am happily obliging. I also finished seasons 1 and 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen and I am so lost and confused BUT I'll figure it out. Probably, I just need to read the manga and/or watch season three. I did NOT watch Jujutsu Kaisen O which maybe has contributed to my confusion with the plot.

I am going to make a Tomodachi Life webshrine BTW because EUGHHH I love the game bad. My island is Hunter X Hunter themed mostly with the addition of a few OCs, Yashiro and Aoi from TBHK, and MaoMao and Jinshi from Apothecary Diaries. ALSO I found out that one can have multiple islands on one switch via using multiple profiles. I love this knowledge and WILL abuse it. Now that I am on a three month hiatus from school, I can do more with my site again yippee!!!!

hello interweb and the people in my community!!! tomorrow night i get to go see the crane wives in concert yayayayay!!!! i'm soooo excited i'm going with two friends and it's gonna be so fun. and my uni had a ren faire today i got a free pair of elf ears and also i made a flower crown and got free shaved ice. friday i have a presentation to deliver on scouting and conservation. semester is almost over at uni. i might be staffing scout camp this summer if the cards play out. im worried i'll psych myself out again. which isn't great but sadly i make myself so anxious i get sick lmao. school and life has been fine though, nothing extraordinary.

wahhhh i wanna go home!!! i have like 3 weeks of school left :( i have to do stupid presentations and stupid papers and stupid exams UGHHH!! its literally not even that bad lmao i just need rest and reset. im in that end of semester slump. i think my parents are coming up this weekend to grab a bunch of my stuff so that there is less to haul on move-out day. its so dumb that even though im literally in the exact same room next year i have to pack everything up and leave. but, on the plus side, that does mean that i can probably rearrange my room in the fall. i'm sad though because i REALLY wanted to take this one class on human sexuality (psychology) and i even would have gotten honors credit for it! but my stupid university let the professor go. which SUCKS because i loved that professor. and the honors comms foundation conflicted with my nature of mathematics class. i'm trying to keep my sanity in tact oh my lanta. i still need a job and to get my driver's license. ughhhh end my suffering life should be rainbows and unicorns and NOT adulting ever. but really i can't complain yknow. oh i also am a volunteer staff for my uni's yearbook! so if the tutoring gig I want doesn't come to fruition the girl who is gonna be editor in chief next year is like "yo i will hire you immediately if you ask next year" which is nice to know.

I've been doing sooo well lately ehehe :3 spring break was a nice rest and reset. didn't end up doing much on here other than fixing broken marquee on homepage, but that's okay. one month left of my first year of uni! that's scary and exciting. the school year has moved so quickly. it feels as if the older i get, the more quickly time moves past me. I have all A's and B's in my classes, but I just took a math test, so that is liable to change. I've indulged in being creative. Letting myself re-write and give my original characters makeovers. I have plans to create a homepage for all of them to reside. I feel pretty decently about maybe actually physically planning out my story with them. I've been sitting on a novel idea for a while. Maybe if the stars align I might even make a little graphic novel! I would say that the vibes of my characters and my universe is akin to Tea Dragon Society by Kay O'Neill, if you happen to know that trilogy. If not, put it on your reading list! Each little novel is just long enough to pair with a cup of tea. It's a springtime favorite of mine. But!! Back on topic, my universe has similar vibes but maybe a little more spooky? I'm seeing the Crane Wives in about two weeks, I'm soooo excited!! And Kali Uchis will be near me in either June or July, so I want to go see that. I wish I could see the BTS tour, but they're not coming near enough to me, I can't afford it, and the closest dates occur during next school year so I cannot. If they do Weverse streams, maybe I can watch that?? I'm unsure how the cinema viewings work, but I'm intersted. Hmm, what else to yap about... Honestly, I can't think of anything! My life has been peaceful and uneventful, so I have no qualms or complaints. Bonus artwork of one of the main characters of my universe, Angel.

My friends and I went to the club last night and it was sooo fun! We went to the mall first for dinner and to window shop, then we sat in a parking lot and talked shit until like 10pm when the club opened. It was 2010s/recession pop themed, so I did my makeup and outfit Kesha inspired. It was really fun eehehe, only issue was 2 weird ass men. One tried to wiggle into me and my girl friends' dance circle (4 teenage girls) and he was a grown ass man?? The other catcalled me at the gas station when I was just trying to grab some waters for the hour drive back to campus. One of my girls just grabbed me arm and we sped walked by him. I'm talking to someone new, and I'm reallyyy hoping it goes well. She is beautiful inside and out. Still waiting for BTS album very excitedly. On airbuds I'm in the top 1% of listeners for BTS and the number 1 listener ever for The Struts. Lore drop, I saw the Struts on their Pretty Vicious tour and got to meet the band! I've been a huge Strutter since I was like 10, so seeing them live and on the rail (as in I was at the very front at the stage!!) was actually a dream come true. Luke Spiller has a wonderful stage presence, and so does Jed, Gareth and Adam. I'm going to see the Crane Wives in April, I'm so excited for it eheheh

My tummy has been killing me for dayssss my chronic illness is making me chronically ill :( i am suffering over here UGHHHH!! aside from that i made a 73 on my math exam. not good but not bad. i need to lock in with my studying and doing my work lmao... i think i'll take a few gen ed courses over summer break because i want to take some cool fun classes badly. there's one class on the psychology of human sexuality, one on new orleans literature and carnival culture (with a trip to new orleans included btw!!), and there's a class on harry potter and a class on startrek. i'm debating between hp and startrek, but nola lit and psych of sexuality are a MUST. I'm also going to meet with my advisor soon and ask if pretty please I can declare a minor in Psychology because methinks it would go well with my Sociology/Criminology degree. I have to write a 2k word paper and it is stressing me out, which is hilarious actually because I just wrote a 2k word paper. And also I have an ongoing fanfiction that is ~30k words so I know writing is not an issue at all for me. I'm REALLY into Hunter x Hunter again oh em gee. I've gotten to Greed Island Arc from the 2011 Eng dub, and like actually it is making me emotional. I just love Hunter x Hunter SO MUCH like it is one of my comfort medias of all time. Once I finish my 12 millionth rewatch of the 2011 dub I'm gonna go back and watch the 1999 version. Not to be autistic (I am actually autistic) but I have watched both versions of HxH an unhealthy amount of times. Like propbably upwards of 10. I've also read most of the manga. Anyway, my mom made me a hair appointment for over spring break and I'm nervous because a few weeks ago I cut my own hair... Like usually I trim my bangs between appointments but I cut my face framing and did it disconnected on purpose because I loveeee disconntected face framing pieces but my stylist might just fight me to the death haha. She loves my hair and doing it for me because I am the only person in our town that does vivids and also I like "alternative" haircuts so she always gets super excited for me.

Urghhh it is almost midnight as I write this. I spent a lot of time writing today. Like, most of my waking hours. I also facetimed my mom for two hours and talked to my little brother a little bit. Well, he's not technically my little brother. His mom is my best friend, and her kids are like my baby siblings. I love her and her family so much, even though we're not blood. BUT besides the point. I don't think I was lazy today despite spending most time at my computer, I was storyboarding and drafting a lot. It is rainy and stormy here which creates a moody atmosphere. I enjoyed sipping a mug of chai with honey drizzled in while rain tapped my window. Tomorrow I have many chores. I get to go home for spring break in two weeks, I'm so excited. I received extra credit on my history exam Friday. Only 10 people showed up to our lecture, so the prof gave us all an extra point on our last exam. It took my grade from 49/50 to 50/50. Overall I have a 98/100 in the class! I have an upcoming psychology exam that I've started studying for. I also need to read the textbook for my American Homicide class. I'm yearning for a tattoo or piercing, I just want something new.

I had a very thoughtful conversation with my mom about Strawberry Shortcake. We agreed that 2003-2007 was the best era of design. 2018 was scary. I still love to watch cartoons from my childhood, I spend a lot of time with Strawberry Shortcake and My Little Pony.

It is so warm here I'm so happy. I get to keep my window open and drink herbal tea and do hobbies. I loveeee being a teenage girl. I wish I had a job or something so I could have money but I make do. I want to dress all fancy cutie BUT I fear it is expensive and I'm an unemployed brokie. Hopefully I'll get the campus job I applied to. I also need a job for over the summer but I do NOT wanna work fast food. I took a math test yesterday and it was scary I am not a fan of math tests at all. I'm doing some spring cleaning in my dorm, and making a list/packing up things I know I wont wear/use again before the semester ends in like 2 months. My last class is April 28, if I remember correctly, so when I go home for spring break I figure that taking stuff home is a good idea. If anyone know jobs that won't make me miserable pleaseee help a sister out. My university had a convicted felon on campus speaking today for like an open mic thing which was actually crazy. There were so many police and literal snipers on the tops of buildings for in case fights broke out. I didn't go obviously. My club co-hosted a Book Swap event with free pizza and drinks at the same time on the other side of campus so students had somewhere else to go. There were also a bunch of students protesting. The dude is a member of TPUSA, so the TPUSA chapter was hosting him. I'm still like, amazed, that he was actually on campus and we have people that support that ideology on this campus because my school is a liberal arts school and is mostly populated with queer, left-wing, activist, alternative, etc. etc. students. Myself included. I dressed like a rainbow on purpose today since I had to go to class. I would have joined the protest but like,,, class is important I'm paying out the wazoo for it. I made a Spacehey account but lowkey I'm so confused on making my own layout I need to look more into that.

I have been listening to soooo much Vocaloid and to soooo much BTS recently I love love love my nerdy music. Shoutout Vocaloid producers y'all are the GOAT and I love you for making really awesome music for me to listen to!!!!

I love school and I love learning. But I'm so readyyy for Spring Break in like three weeks. I live three hours from home and cannot drive, so I haven't been home since January 6th. That means like, it'll have been three months before I went home. I'm only 19 I'm not ready or wanting to be away from my parents like this !!! Also I'm working on the annotated bibliography for my composition class and URGHHHHH its so hard to find sources because I screwed myself over and chose a niche topic (the relationship between Scouting America and nature in the South US.) Word of advice do not ever pick a super niche topic for a research paper (actually please do pick a super niche topic because it's really cool and stuff.) Also living is too expensive I bought toothpaste, coffe grounds, creamer, and cat treats that were on sale. It cost me 40 fucking dollars?? for what?? Ugh I'm to broke to be alive I'm mooching off my parents I don't even have a job. But its okay, I'm gonna work over the summer and hopefully I'll get the tutoring gig I applied to for the fall semester. Ummm also Faye Webster and Mac DeMarco YAYAYAY I need them to collab please and thank you.

I spent a lot of time working on my site over the weekend. I got the first page of my e-shrine up, and i re-made my homepage to look nicer. Still not loving some of the graphics so keep an eye out for mini changes. Spent time with a friend!! He is really shy but he asked me to hang out. It was nice, we just walked around campus and talked shit about other people. The new Gorillaz album is SO GOOD!!! I need to listen to Mitski's new album too. I have a history exam tomorrow (Monday) and a math exam Wednesday. I'm also like halfway through the Hunter x Hunter Yorknew City arc, it's my favoriteeee I love love love Yorknew City arc. When I was 14 I did a complete re-write of it to include my HxH OC, Yermyn. I re-read it recently and it was definitely written by a 14 year old homeschool kid. I have plans to re-write my re-write haha. ALSO I'm in the process of re-writing Stranger Things S5 because it was ASS. Spring break is in three weeks, I'm super super excited oh my lanta.

Today was pretty chill. I only have one class on Tues/Thurs -- the class is Soc/Crim and it's about homicide. It's pretty cool but can be kinda... depressing. After class I grabbed lunch with my friends, and then worked on a drawing while one of the girls worked in the digital lab. After that we went to an escape room! My group got 4/6 puzzles solved, and we also solved the secret hidden puzzle. It was pretty fun. I challenged myself to wear an outfit I'd put together over a month ago but was too nervous to wear. It was a black mini dress that was corset-top and had a built-in petticoat, a white turtleneck because it was cold, a white skirt under the dress for dimension, black tights, chunky white legwarmers and mary janes. I also did my normal makeup hehe. I need to start working on my case study presentation for my homicide class. I'm scheduled to present on April 23 I think.

Today was great! I woke up at 6:38 a.m. exactly feeling very rejuvinated. I did a full beat of makeup and I wore my natural curls today. All my classes went well and I got a lot of compliments. I did a rainbow-themed decora coord. I'm trying to tap more into actually wearing clothes I like and I really like j-fashion. i'm really interested in himekaji and lolita the most. Also I'm doing an escape room with my friends tomorrow!! yayay that's fun. soooo excited for the bts comeback next month!! :D im like anxiously awaiting heheheh !!! the people in my math class make me mad tho it's remedial highschool math (i didn't have to take it but chose to because i'm not confident in my math skills) these people man broken heart.

it is 9:18 p.m. i am in my pajamas drinking bedtime herbal tea, arguing with my cat and facetiming my mom. life is good.

i have sooooo much homework to do and soooo many chores today lol. nothing too major, its all easy tasks. i need to finish the partial draft of my annotated bibliography, read the textbook materials for my sociology class, and watch two documentaries for history. i'm also gonna go ahead and do all my math homework for the week to get it out of the way. i will forget to do it if i don't do it now lmao. still need to dye my hair. badly. send help lol. my dorm is on the 4th/top floor of the building, and i think there is a family of pigeons nesting near my window because i can hear them talking to each other. i don't mind tho, i like birds. i'm trying to learn about birds more and how to identify them etc. etc. because i think that is cool. also my cat is gooing crazyyyy today he's so hyper. it's cold and windy outside, but i might try to take him out on the harness later.

i've been playing heartopia a lot i really like it. i also like animal crossing i need to play moreeee but i hate the snow. i'm lowkey waiting for the snow to melt on my isnland.

hello world 👽 i am putting a little journal/blog page together. i currently have a massive headache but im listening to nostalgic vocaloid and drinking a fresh, piping hot chai latte. so life isn't that bad. i've been working on the BEST paper ever. the topic i chose is... the relationship between Scouting America and conservation. i'm very very passionate about this subject so best believe i've been locked in on it. also there is a really cuteeee goth cowboy in my sociology class?? i've been too shy to talk to him but maybe hopefully i'll compliment his style this week. but probably i won't because i am actually a loser incarnate. ALSO OMG i'm soooo excited for BTS comeback in march. i've presaved the album, arirang, and have it marked on all my calenders with alarms. i really wanted to see the tour buttt alas, it was not in my cards this time. i literally need to re-dye my hair also. my hair is pink because i want to look like a cute silly girl, but its all faded. i will fix it today methinks.
